Eaton’s IT group is currently seeking a Configure, Price and Quote (CPQ) Functional Analyst to join our team. This position is based at any Eaton U.S. facility. The role is eligible for a hybrid work setup. We are currently seeking Configure, Price and Quote (CPQ) Functional Analyst (FA) to join our Revenue Generating Value Chain & Platforms team. The candidate will be based at any Eaton facility.The CPQ FA will design, model, configure, and implement functional software and process solutions to meet desired business requirements. Analyze business processes and systems processes & recommend improvements that use standard Eaton software and processes. Participate in implementations and third level support as required. Ability to understand and drive regional solutions and implement controls that are fully auditable and compliant with business and control standards.Making what matters work at Eaton takes the passion of every employee around the world. Work in partnership with divisional and regional business process owners on system requirements, processes, and systems.

Manage requirements scope & disposition through process compliance & gap analysis, integration testing & user acceptance methodology.

Provide knowledge and input on the system implications of business process changes.

Help to identify consolidated, worldwide target processes.

Demonstrate analytical skills, to critically evaluate the information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a more general understanding, distinguish presented user requests from the underlying true needs, and distinguish solution ideas from requirements.

Apply project methodology and governance processes to the change control, system development life cycle and regression testing.

Support end to end processes and has intermediate level understanding of system touch points.

Work with the global governance team to ensure proposed solutions are in-line global solutions.

Participate in business process improvement committees as needed.

Demonstrate strong communication skills - able to interact with senior level leaders at divisional or regional level. Able to explain complex system issues and decision points using common business language (without using IT terms and language)

Minimum 5 years of IT or functional/business analyst experience

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.

No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the work location will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred Qualifications:Master’s Degree from an accredited institution

Scrum Master certification

Position Criteria:Experienced knowledge of applications' technical capabilities.

Must have a strong level of system expertise - gathered through numerous full-life cycle projects.

Strong Business Analyst or Functional Analyst experience

Eaton provides a competitive total rewards package commensurate with applicable skills, knowledge, and experience and consistent with internal and external market practices.
