Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Cost Accounting Manager/Supervisor in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin. The chosen candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various departments including product engineering, procurement, operations, and finance to optimize product costs. The role is pivotal in maintaining the financial health and efficiency of our operations in the industry.Responsibilities: Collaborate with various teams to implement savings productivity and eliminate inefficiencies internally and externally. Develop and utilize internal manufacturing cost models to manage cost effectively. Understand manufacturing processes and related costs such as Capital Expenditure (CapEx), tooling, labor, and raw materials. Work closely with the estimating department to identify and implement cost efficiencies. Manage Bill of Materials (BOM) processes, including the creation of new and revisions of existing BOMs. Perform comprehensive cost model testing and analysis to ensure accuracy. Serve as a trusted advisor in support of purchasing cost/quality, engineering new product development, benchmarking, cost drivers. Support operations in process/labor efficiencies and automation trade-offs. Provide feedback to finance on cost standards. Identify waste reduction and inefficiencies to enhance overall productivity. Monitor performance in assigned areas and conduct gap analysis to target performance. Use your proficiency in Accounting Software Systems, ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning, Auditing, Budget Processes, Cost Accounting, and SAP to optimize processes and results. Requirements Must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role or related field. Proficiency in utilizing Accounting Software Systems is mandatory. Knowledge and experience in using Crystal Reports is required. Familiarity and experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is essential. Demonstrated expertise in Accounting Functions is necessary. Experience in Auditing and Budget Processes is required. Must have a deep understanding and experience in Cost Accounting. Ability to perform Annual Standard Cost computations is crucial. Experience in Manufacturing Cost Accounting is necessary. Proficiency in Standard Cost Accounting is required. Knowledge of SAP software is a must. Familiarity with Bill of Materials (BOM) is essential. Ability to analyze Cost Variance and Purchase Price Variance is a must.
