Customer Service Representative

JOB DESCRIPTIONPosition Title: Customer Service RepresentativeDepartment: OperationsLocation: Green Bay, WIReports to: Terminal ManagerPrinciple Responsibilities:Schedule, enter, and communicate all customer delivery appointments.

Update corporate customer service on any late deliveries and detentions.

Solicit freight from the assigned geographical region and assigned customer base.

Manage loads to ensure equipment and drivers are fully utilized.

Communicate service issues to your assigned customers in your designated area.

Update daily check call based on shippers requirements.

Check destinations, load capabilities, arrival times, driver capabilities and potential.

Optimize trailer pool utilization and trailer locations.

Communicate with customers regarding needs and with sales for opportunities.

Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:Proficient in Microsoft office software. TMW and Omnitracs knowledge preferred.

Dependable and capable of adapting to a fast-paced working environment.

Must have the ability to modify/change systems to continually improve the overall operations.

Transportation industry experience preferred.

Excellent customer service, planning, and organizational skills.
