Dairy Herds Person/Manager

We currently are looking for a dairy herds person/manager at our 200 cow family dairy farm. This is a full time position that is around 50 hours per week. Duties include but are not limited to the following:

Working with all concepts of dairy cow and heifer management

Vaccination programs

Nutrition

Dairy cow & heifer breeding & rotation management

Employee work scheduling

Hands on employee training of milking and other duties

Helping with farm and milking facilities cleaning

This position will include hands on working with dairy cattle in all aspects. We are looking for a person that can get along well with others, and must be self-motivated.
