job detailsjob summary:We have an immediate opening at the Department of Employee Trust Funds (ETF) for a good Data Engineer to participate in our Data Management Program. Data is one of our most valuable assets and we strive to become a more data-literate and data-driven organization. Gathering requirements and developing technical specifications for ETL - 6 years
Using ETL tools to design ETL jobs (ETL 6 years, preferably 2 years of with Alteryx)
Developing various types of data loads (e.g. incremental, history/full, survivorship rules) - 6 years
Implementing change data capture (CDC) - 4 years
Testing and debugging ETL - 6 years
Developing complex SQL - 6 years
ETL job scheduling - 2 years
Loading data warehouses using ETL tools - 2 years
Management of multiple ETL tools
Experience with data quality tools and frameworks
Using source code version control software
Mentoring to others on ETL development
Managing multiple, concurrent projects and tasks
Having good interpersonal skills including communication, mentoring, collaborating, and team building
