At Sentry, we have an exciting opportunity in our Corporate Data Services organization for a Data Systems Developer who is passionate about .NET UI development and Data. We are looking for someone to support our current data applications and help design solutions for the next generation. We use these applications for the movement, reporting, and analysis of data. You'll work in a team environment that fosters growth and development.

This position is eligible to work out of our Stevens Point, WI or Madison, WI office.

What You'll Do

In this role, you'll contribute to developing Data-Centric front-end applications key to our Financial, Actuarial, and Statistical customers.

In addition, you'll:

Be a member of a high-performing agile team, responsible for designing, developing, and supporting our Microsoft .NET and SQL based Data solutions.
Respond to system problems by analyzing, developing a solution, and repairing the system to avoid interruption of services to users.
Participate in prototyping solutions, preparing test scripts, and conducting tests for data replication, extraction, cleansing, and data modeling for repositories.
Follow Sentry's Information Technology standards and processes.

What it Takes

Associate degree, bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience.
Experience with .NET 6, Java, Kafka, Snowflake, or similar technologies.
Experience with T-SQL and Microsoft SQL Server
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrates a passion for building systems that have measurable impacts.
Demonstrates innovation and technical versatility
Demonstrates a sense of logic, decision-making, and problem resolution skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Ability to work on-call hours as needed.
