- As one of our enterprise DB2 DBAs, this position is responsible for ensuring optimum performance, integrity, and availability of agency databases in a DB2 (mainframe) environment.
- This position is responsible for the management, administration, and technical support for all DB2 databases that support the department and its divisions.
- The DB2 Administrator will provide technical consulting support for the management, control, tuning, design, and integration of corporate DB2 database support systems.
- This position will also assist in formulating policy standards, procedures, and guidelines for utilizing the DB2 database support systems.
- DB2 DBA mainframe experience (e.g. table management, running database or table reorgs, creating indexes, etc.).
- Analyzing data structures and relationships along with expert SQL skills
- Designing and creating data models
- Project or technical leadership on database related projects.
