Dental Hygienist (Part-time) Temporary

We are seeking a Temporary, skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to work approximately 9 Thursdays, from the end of June through Mid-September. We are a practice devoted to quality care allowing 1 hour for dental cleanings and 1.5 hours for new patients.

Responsibilities:

- Perform thorough dental cleanings and oral examinations

- Take and develop dental x-rays

- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized recommendations for at-home care

- Administer local anesthesia as needed

- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using EagleSoft or similar software

- Follow strict infection control protocols and maintain aseptic technique

- Adhere to HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality

- Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive patient care

Requirements:

- Valid state dental hygiene license

- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program

- Proficiency in medical documentation and record keeping

- Experience with dental practice management software

- Ability to accurately record vital signs and medical history

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
