Summary:The Desktop Support Technician provides support of desktops, laptops, and tablets for over 6,000 users organization wide. This includes the hands-on support of incidents, service requests, and changes as they pertain to desktops, laptops, tablets, printer, applications, and other IT equipment. This position requires the ability to communicate effectively when discussing both technical and non-technical issues with customers, management, service providers and team members. This position independently resolves conflicts and problems through the skilled application of theoretical and practical knowledge of the specialized area as well as the application of general policies and organization wide policies and standards.Qualifications:

Experience providing technical desktop support (responding to, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues, documenting incident requests, etc.)

Experience utilizing an IT service management tool (Cherwell, ServiceNow, Ivanti, etc.) to monitor and resolve incidents.

Experience configuring Microsoft Windows based PC's for deployments.
