Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Desktop Support Analyst near Spring Green, Wisconsin. This role involves providing level I help desk support, handling a range of issues from basic password resets to more complex hardware issues. The successful candidate will join a small team, providing an excellent environment for knowledge sharing and continuous learning.Responsibilities: Answer help desk calls and provide first-level support for users experiencing issues. Assist with simple and repetitive tasks such as password resets and printer issues. Handle hardware issues including desktop, laptop, and imaging devices, and network hardware. Provide remote support using the resolve program. Engage in knowledge sharing activities using SharePoint and OneNote. Assist with the implementation of a ticketing system for service desk tickets and support tickets. Perform hardware and software installation and configuration management. Work on longer-term projects as required, providing an opportunity to learn more about the industry and terminology. Utilize skills in MS Office 365, Active Directory, and various backup technologies. Ensure accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications.Requirements Possession of a minimum of 1 year of experience in a Desktop Support Analyst role or similar IT support position. Proficient understanding and experience with Computer Hardware, Active Directory, and Apple Devices. Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Backup Technologies and Configuration Management. Proven ability to manage Support Tickets and Service Desk Tickets. Familiarity with MS Office 365 and its support requirements. Experience with Hardware & Software Installation. Knowledge of PC Hardware, Network Hardware, Laptop Hardware, Imaging Devices, Desktop Hardware, and Desktop Imaging. Proficiency in providing Desktop Support. Ability to work collaboratively in a team and also function independently when required. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective interaction with a diverse range of people. Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Willingness to stay updated on the latest technological advancements and apply this knowledge in the role. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
