Description We are extending an opportunity for a DevOps Engineer to join our team in Madison, Wisconsin. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity, ideal for individuals who are keen to make a significant contribution to our operations. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be instrumental in managing and enhancing our technical infrastructure, with a focus on Azure, Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes.Responsibilities: Implement and manage continuous delivery systems using Azure DevOps and other related tools. Develop and maintain Terraform scripts for infrastructure as code and configuration management. Manage Docker containers and Kubernetes clusters to ensure efficient deployment and scaling of applications. Utilize tools such as Atlassian Jira and Apache Ant+ for project management and build automation. Implement automation tools and frameworks like Ansible for configuration management and continuous integration. Use AWS technologies and Microsoft Azure extensively to manage cloud-based resources and services. Apply knowledge of Cluster Analysis to manage complex computing tasks and data processing. Maintain Azure Storage and Azure Stack for data storage and cloud computing services. Use Azure Pipelines for continuous integration and delivery pipeline management. Employ Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS) for managing hosted Kubernetes environments. Requirements Minimum of 3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role in software development and system administration. Demonstrated proficiency in Amazon EC2, Ansible, Apache ANT+, and Apache Tomcat. Sound knowledge of Atlassian Jira and proven experience in Automation. Experience with AWS Technologies and Cluster Analysis is essential. Expertise in Configuration Management and Continuous Integration (CI). Experience in Azure DevOps, Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker is required. Proficiency in Windows Azure, Microsoft Azure, Azure Storage, Azure Stack, Azure Pipelines, and Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS). Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is preferred. Must have the ability to work legally in the location of the job. A positive attitude and willingness to learn new technologies and tools.
