I would prefer the right candidate have a number of years managing in the restaurant/bar industry, but I would absolutely be willing to work with somebody that wants to make the move from the bar to management.
The responsibilities that come as a GM are many, but it is all about bringing of knowledge, enthusiasm, and consistency to our staff giving them the best chance for success.
Compensation will be hourly with a starting wage of high $20's per hour, but the right candidate will quickly get a bump over that $30 mark. Other benefits include continued training on Mondays, and a staff reward program that is based on hours worked!
