Adecco is seeking a skilled Machine Shop Operator to join our team in Mayville, WI. In this role, you will operate a variety of machines, including NC/CNC machines, to perform production tasks. Your primary responsibilities will include loading and unloading parts and conducting basic inspections to ensure part quality. This position offers an opportunity to advance to a Machine Shop Operator #2 classification as you acquire additional skills.
Type: Direct Hire, Permanent
Salary: $19.84 per hour
Work Hours: 1st Shift: Monday - Thursday, 2:30 PM - 1:00 AM. Mandatory overtime extending up to 10 hours on weekdays and every other Saturday as needed to meet production needs.
Essential Functions:
Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality of the parts produced.
Safety Compliance: Follow all safety rules regarding machine operation and proper guarding.
Reporting: Maintain simple reports on productivity, quality, and safety.
Qualifications:
Experience: 1-3 years of machine operating experience.
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 30 lbs frequently.
Skills:
Proficient reading and writing skills to follow work order instructions and prepare production reports.
Visual acuity (corrected) to read instructions, operate machines, and inspect parts.
Manual dexterity to operate equipment effectively.
