Job DescriptionLocation/Division Specific InformationThe Chemical Analysis Division provides a broad mix of analytical instruments and services to a diverse range of end user markets including Safety & Security, Academic and Government, Environmental, Food Safety, Life Sciences, Medical, Energy, and Minerals and Mining. Its instruments are deployed globally in the field and on the line where customers put a premium on robustness, reliability, and ease of use.How you will make an impact:The Director, Finance, Operations is a key member of the CAD financial leadership team and division operations team supporting a $1.4B division. This individual is the business partner to the Vice President of Operations and is accountable for driving factory production targets, operational key performance indicators, delivering productivity goals, and inventory commitments through their team and broader organization. In addition, this leader will also be a key partner with the operations team to drive annual and long-range planning around footprint and strategic operational financial planning.What you will do:

Lead operational reporting standard cadence across division and develop robust metrics to proactively address absorption or leakage challenges

Deliver valuable business analysis and models, as well as define and report meaningful financial and operational metrics that lead accurate business decision-making

Responsible for the financial planning and reporting processes, including reporting, forecasts, and annual operating plan

Establish and improve performance metrics to assist with investment evaluation, operational site performance, decision-making with accurate and timely reporting and analysis of data

Partner with Practical Process Improvement Director and sourcing teams to drive sustainable cost savings and robust saving project pipelines

Remove barriers to execution across processes and proactively build or adopt operational tools

Lead, develop, and inspire a team to meet the business and finance objectives

How you will get here:Education

Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting

Experience

10+ years of finance or business partnerships experience, including leading a team.

Experience in a global manufacturing organization.

Ability to travel up 25%.

Strong experience with Excel, PowerPoint. Hyperion Planning experience preferred.
