Ehs Manager

Adecco Search is seeking EHS MANAGER for our client in Janesville Wisconsin. Position is a direct hire position, salary of $90K-$126K with competive benefits. Our client is looking for an EHS Manager that will establish and promote a safe work environment, free from hazards in an effort to minimize occupational injuries and illnesses. Also, ensures safety and environmental compliance with local, state, and federal regulations using best management practices.Essential Functions and ResponsibilitiesAnalysis of potential occupational hazards that may lead to work illness and/or injuries, develop plans to minimize these hazards, and execute accordingly.

Responsible for the effective and proactive management of all Worker's Compensation activities for DSB.

Develop, train, and track all safety related communications, programs, policies, reports, and metrics that are compliant with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.

Performs inspections to detect existing or potential accident and health hazards, and recommends corrective or preventative measures. Ensures corrective actions are implemented and verified.

Manages the Hazardous Materials Program, Emergency Response Programs, and Evacuation Programs.

Manages the internal Accident Investigation Program for all departments.

Leads audits specific to Environmental Health and Safety.

Manages environmental compliance including air, water, and chemical for the company.

Maintain Department of Transportation (DOT records and compliance).

Facilitates Safety Committee Meetings, Safety Steering Committee, Ergonomics Teams, and reports on safety related topics and metrics.

Responsible for the administration of regular Safety Talks.

Individuals directed by management to operate a vehicle for work purposes will observe the requirements of the Fleet Safety Program.

Support, promote, and perform in a manner consistent with continuous improvement goals and the values of DSB Technologies which includes following the policies, procedures, and requirements of our Quality Management and IS0 14001 Environmental Management Systems.

All other duties as assigned by your supervisor.Qualifications and ExperienceBachelor's Degree (B.S.) with an emphasis on Safety, and minimum of 5 years related experience and/or training; or combination of education and experience preferred.

Active OSHA 30 HR certificate, First Responder/CPR certificate.

Data driven mindset in identifying and prioritizing opportunities and issues.
