We are looking for several Business Analyst for one of our large customers in the Midwest to assist with the documentation of their current financial process as they prepare for an ERP upgrade. This will be a 4-6 week contract and you’ll need to go onsite a few times for meetings during the duration, but the remainder of the work will be done remotely. Duration: 4-6 weeksLocation: Madison, WI – onsite a few times during the duration so should live in the surrounding metros areas (Madison, WI, Milwaukee, WI, Chicago, IL, etc.)Role Description: This Business Analyst will reverse engineer what has already been done in the existing ERP system and document the current business processes. They will work with the Finance business units such as Accounting, External Reporting, Tax, Asset Management, Finance, Treasury, Accounts Payable, Supply Chain, Contracts, and Internal Audits to build out a requirement document for what will be needed in that respective business unit during the ERP upgrade. The Business Systems Analyst will then pass the requirements onto the potential ERP vendors, so they are able to provide a demo to the client.Requirements: - Business Analyst experienced in finance business process documentation for the as-is phase of an ERP implementation
- Experience working with various business units to gather and write out technical requirements
- Experience with SAP and/or Oracle is highly preferred; ERP project experience is required
