Job Description

The Opportunity: American Girl is looking for a Full-Time Financial Analyst, who will be responsible for accounting, forecasting, analysis, reporting, systems, and consulting. This position will start out working remote and will eventually work on-site at the Middleton Corporate Campus when the return to office is in effect in 2022.

What Your Impact Will Be:This position is responsible for the preparation of financial information, development of the forecast, providing requested information and systems support. The position will assist in maintaining internal controls, audits, and systems as they relate to their specific areas.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

Minimum of 2 years' experience in financial analysis, advanced accounting procedures and financial systems Current knowledge of GAAP and internal controls and experience executing monthly close processes Exceptional analytical skills and problem-solving abilities Ability to work cross-functionally, providing financial guidance and insight to business partners to drive desired business outcomes Demonstrated commitment to meeting deadlines in fast-paced environment Highly motivated and inquisitive, with a desire to learn and grow within the organization Ability to compile holistic financial reporting, including variance explanations Demonstrated teamwork, customer service oriented, and strong communication skills Excellent organization and time management Advanced Microsoft Excel, proficient in MS Office Data warehouse and Hyperion Planning experience a plus Experience with financial support in a consumer products/retail environment a plus
