Description We are in search of a Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team in the engineering industry, located in Waukesha, Wisconsin, United States. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity and involves taking responsibility for key financial tasks such as managing accounts receivable and payable, preparing financial statements, and handling month-end procedures. Responsibilities: Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions to ensure accuracy and timeliness Prepare comprehensive financial statements on a regular basis Conduct a thorough month-end close process Manage general ledger entries and reconciliations Handle other assigned duties related to bookkeeping and financial management Utilize your skills in Financial Statement preparation and Construction Engineering for effective performance Oversee the process of expense reporting to track company expenditures Ensure adherence to financial regulations and industry standards Actively participate in financial strategy planning initiatives Implement effective strategies to optimize financial operations. Requirements Must have a minimum of 5 years experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper within the engineering industry Proven ability to prepare financial statements and understand financial statement analysis Proficiency in managing accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) Experience in completing month-end close procedures and expense reporting Must possess knowledge of construction engineering principles and practices Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Advanced proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite Proven ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information Must possess a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
