Job Title: General ProductionJob DescriptionThis position involves performing various tasks necessary to set up, adjust, and operate one or more pieces of equipment to convert materials to established specifications. The role requires selecting proper job supplies, verifying material conformity, transferring completed materials, maintaining cleanliness, packaging materials, monitoring supplies, and ensuring quality standards are met.Responsibilities
Perform all duties necessary to set up, adjust, and operate one or more pieces of equipment.
Select proper job supplies and verify material conformity to order requirements.
Transfer completed materials from machines to skids, pallets, containers, etc.
Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and orderly fashion.
Package or prepare materials for shipment, including tagging or labeling.
Assist in monitoring required supplies, materials, and equipment.
Perform job within rated production standards and provide feedback when standards are exceeded.
Follow and comply with rules and regulations of employment.
Ensure all quality standards are met, tests performed, and documentation completed.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Converting Supervisor or lead person.
Essential Skills
3+ years of machine operator experience.
3+ years of high-speed machine operator experience.
Ability to read and write.
Ability to read a tape measure.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in production and machine operation.
Proficiency with hand tools.
Troubleshooting skills.
Measuring capabilities.

Work is mostly independent but occasionally in small groups of 2-3. Available shifts include rotating 6am-6pm, 6pm-6am, as well as fixed 1st shift (6am-2pm), 2nd shift (2pm-10pm), and 3rd shift (10pm-6am).
