We are currently seeking an Intake Nurse (RN, LPN, EMP-P) to work at one of the largest Plasma/Blood Donation Centers in the greater Milwaukee, WI area. Compensation $26-28/hour New Grads welcome to apply! Schedule Monday-Friday, rotating shifts (1 week opening, 1 week mid, 1 week closing) Qualifications - LPN License OR RN OR EMT-P - BLS certification (because knowing how to save lives is kind of important)- Plasma knowledge and venipuncture skills are bonus points (but we won't ask you to recite the periodic table) Responsibilities

You will assess donor eligibility.

Manage informed consent, providing AIDS education and confidential self-exclusion, conducting medical history interviews and acceptance checks,

Perform physical examinations, blood testing, and reviewing Serological Protein Electrophoresis (SPE) results.

You will assess donor reactions occurring at the facility as specified in the SOPs.

Team up with the Center Physician or Medical Affairs (as applicable)

You will evaluate donor reactions at the facility in accordance with the SOPs.

Adhere to the SOPs for medical emergencies, which includes executing the Center Physician's standing orders and organizing donor transport to emergency care facilities.
