Will serve as an Interim Travel Nursing leader with the potential to serve various Ascension hospitals. Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements for their assigned team.
Identify and resolve issues affecting the delivery of patient care services for the assigned team. Develop and implement policies and procedures to guarantee efficient and effective delivery of health services.
Monitor and adhere to budget. Approve and monitor expenditures, purchases and other actions to ensure compliance with budget guidelines.
Conduct hiring, training, directing, development and evaluating of staff
RequirementsLicensure / Certification / Registration:
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Education:
Required professional licensure/certification AND 3 years of experience and 1 year of cumulative leadership experience required.
Additional Preferences
A strong leadership background and a significant background with cardiology services related to cath lab, EP, cardiac rehab and/or non-invasive services eg. echo/stress testing and EKG is necessary for this position.
ACLS preferred.
