Description:Candidates will work with clients and architects to design or renovate spaces to meet their standards. Candidates will be drafting the designs in Revit. Candidates will be charged to enhance the function, safety, and aesthetics of interior spaces. Candidates will be selecting samples including flooring, carpet, and paint to be approved by client. They will plan architectural detail such as crown molding and built in shelving. Candidates will work with vendors on the selection process. Candidates will plan and estimate budgets for projects. Candidates will submit drawings for approval by a construction inspector to ensure that the design meets building codes. Draw up sketches and plans. Arrange furniture. Coordinate work schedules. Work within an energetic, collaborative environment under the direction of firm leadership. Engage in all aspects of the design process including programming, conceptual design, design development, construction documents, and construction administration. Research and select architectural interior finishes that would best meet specific project requirements and budgets. Prepare sample boards and finish and furniture specifications. Work directly with clients to program needs and present design concepts. Manage the entire interiors portion of assigned projects and coordinate with team members to complete work. Manage multiple projects simultaneously and work independently. Complete tasks as assigned to maintain Interior Design Library, assist with sample boards, project archive, and department document templates.Skills:Revit, Interior design, Space planning, construction documents, interior finishes, sample boardsTop Skills Details:Revit,Interior design,Space planning,construction documents,interior finishes,sample boardsAdditional Skills & Qualifications:Candidates need at least 2 years of experience working as an interior designer.
