Sr. IT Business Analyst Duration: 8 months, with the potential to extend for an additional term(s)Location: 95% remote, Hybrid, however, position status is subject to change, and 5% onsite for 4-6 in-person meetings per year. Candidates must be willing to travel for those meetings at their own expense. This IT Business Analyst will work with multiple entities' stakeholders to define business requirements and evaluate system designs and will support a project to modernize and replace its centralized support system. You'll be gathering requirements and communicating those to the technical team, providing support for existing mainframe and web-based applications, which also can involve fielding questions via email and phone about system access, printer problems, and the Document Management system. You'll also help to develop and manage the testing of system functionality and coordinate the implementation of these new systems, production, maintenance, and user training. Requirements: - 5+ years of business requirement gathering, documentation, stakeholder communication, and testing. Must have experience working as a liaison between users and tech teams.
- Must have experience supporting system users, troubleshooting support calls, as well as identifying larger problems or inefficiencies and the need for automation or process improvements.
- Must have extensive experience managing the balance between business requirements and user expectations.
