IT Quality assurance

Brief Project DescriptionThis position will be assigned to the Oce of IT Coordination within the Division of Employment and Training at the Department of Workforce Development and will be responsible for quality assurance testing in both application development and Business Intelligence (BI) projects for the Division as a Quality Assurance Specialist. The incumbent will be responsible for liasing with State and partner sta, as well as end users, to gain in-depth knowledge of the expected functionality for any development work, as assigned. This position is expected to develop test plans, execute test plans, and develop documentation to support any applications development or BI small improvements or projects, reporting any issues identified to the appropriate team member for resolution. The systems supported and to be developed by this position have a signicant impact on the day-to-day operations of workforce development programs serving job seekers and employers throughout the state of Wisconsin. Hardware/Software EnvironmentThe applications used to administer the Division's programs are primarily web-based and are developed in the MS .Net environment. Active Directory (AD) is used to administer user access to these systems. Team Foundation Server (TFS)/Azure DevOps is used to track system requests, project status, and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) issue resolution.
