Job Title: IT Technician Location: Janesville, WI Compensation range: $50,000 to $60,000 (Based on Experience)

Summary: Provides on-site technical support to Panoramics manufacturing and distribution facilities. Acts as an extension of the IT department in analyzing, designing, and implementing solutions to technical issues and projects. Works closely with Site Coordinator to support and implement technical solutions as defined by the IT department. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Serve as part of the first-tier support team
  • Monitors, answers, and updates help desk tickets
  • Instructs users in the use of equipment, software, and manuals
  • Actively identifies and resolves broken and malfunctioning computers, scanners, and printers
  • Function as liaison between end-users and IT department in documenting end-user issues
  • Liaison for Global Shop ERP system assists break-fix and support, coordinate with the vendor support team
  • Relocates computer equipment as directed
  • Gather user requirements for assigned projects

Education: College diploma or university degree in the field of Information systems and/or 5 years equivalent work experience. Experience:
    • Knowledge of basic networking concepts
    • Experience with desktop and server operating systems, including Windows
    • Experience managing Active Directory
    • Ability to present ideas in user-friendly, business-friendly, and technical language
    • Exceptional customer service orientation
    • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
    Computer Skills: Computer skills commensurate with the job as needed. Certificates and Licenses: A+ certification or equivalent experience
