Java Developer/Lead

Java Developer/Lead Java Developer/Lead with experience in Java and Spring boot. This is full-time hybrid (Milwaukee, Wisconsin) position. Skills and experiences:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience 6-10 years of professional experience required.
• 5-8+ years of experience leading teams using modern engineering tools, languages, and practices.
• Financial Services experience in delivering technology solutions for Policy Administration (New Business, Servicing, Claims) systems across Life/Annuity/DI/LTC Insurance Products is preferred.
• Hands on with Java / Springboot / Springbatch & JavaScript programming
• Experience with API Management Frameworks
• Familiarity with both Batch and Real-time application patterns
• Cloud native development exposure.
• Knowledge of web services REST / SOAP (JSON, XML)
• Communicates difficult concepts and negotiates with others to adopt a different point of view
• Strong understanding of design patterns and architecture.
• Nice to have: Full Stack Engineer with well-rounded skills across front end and server-side programming including DevOps automation and experience with Cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS.
