Position Overview Java Developer/Lead (Fulltime Onsite-Need locals to WI) Requirements:
- Client is seeking Java Developer/Lead with experience in Java and Spring boot.
- This is full-time hybrid (Milwaukee, Wisconsin) position.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience 6-10 years of professional experience required.
- 5-8+ years of experience leading teams using modern engineering tools, languages, and practices.
- Financial Services experience in delivering technology solutions for Policy Administration (New Business, Servicing, Claims) systems across Life/Annuity/DI/LTC Insurance Products is preferred.
- Hands on with Java / Springboot / Springbatch & JavaScript programming
- Experience with API Management Frameworks
- Familiarity with both Batch and Real-time application patterns
- Cloud native development exposure.
- Knowledge of web services REST / SOAP (JSON, XML)
- Communicates difficult concepts and negotiates with others to adopt a different point of view
- Strong understanding of design patterns and architecture.
- Nice to have: Full Stack Engineer with well-rounded skills across front end and server-side programming including DevOps automation and experience with Cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS.
