For more information on what we are about as a company, check us out by following the link below: http://www.levyrestaurants.com/who-we-are/ Job SummaryMajor Areas of ResponsibilityAs the Lead Gather Group Sales Supervisor, you will be responsible for in-house catering facilities, managing the daily operations of all catering functions, coordinating all function activities with the catering sales, facilities, security, operations and culinary teams, and overseeing catering equipment maintenance and inventory. You will be responsible for the success of each event including the safety of our guests, overall hospitality experience and the execution of the entire event operation.Service

Ensures all catering services exceed guest expectations

Successfully presents Levy catering services to guests in a manner that exceeds guest expectations and profitability

Respond and assist in any departmental guest service, operational, housekeeping, security or F&B issues

Communicates client’s needs through timely and detailed written and verbal communications to ensure internal understanding/compliance and external guest’s expectation of services

Ensures team members are consistently delivering heartfelt hospitality to every guest, every time

Ensures show quality standards are maintained at all times

Builds and maintains strong relationships with clients, guests, subcontractors, and Levy + Bucks employees and leadership team

Executes required daily reporting in a timely manner

Always exceeds guest expectations

Adheres to location appearance guidelines

Acts with a sense of urgency and provides friendly, efficient service to teammates and guests

Understands and can describe menu offerings, packaging/presentation, including allergens contained

Responsible for opening and closing walk through of event space ensuring cleanliness and cleanup of all items and equipment used during the event and following SOP on linen

Ability to read, understand, and execute BEO’s as well as possessing the ability to make pivots when needed, and ability to make on the fly decisions to ensure all guests needs are met

Controls

Completes required department reports and complies information at month-end closing

Ensuring inventory pars are in place and correctly orders products based on these pars, including any specialty products requested by the client for a specific event

Follows and enforces responsible alcohol service policies

Accurately uses POS system and sets up events in Bypass when necessary

Thoroughly checks and holds employees accountable for all station set-up and breakdown responsibilities, including nightly consumption sheets are accurately filled out and sent to sales and catering managers

Communicates guest issues, and event notes to management through nightly recaps of events

Adheres to Levy Restaurants Company guidelines as stated in team member training manual and employee handbook

Job Requirements

2-3 years of supervisory experience in an upscale and high-volume capacity catering, wedding, and/or banquet event space

Lifts and transports up to 50 lbs.

Frequently reaches, lifts, stoops, bends and cleans to maintain service areas

Walks and stands during entire shift

English reading, writing and math skills required

Must be of legal age to serve alcohol and possess any required certifications

Possible job hazards include, but are not limited to; slips, trips, falls, burns, cuts and strains

Able to communicate effectively with managers, guests and teammates by speaking and comprehending English
