What You Will Be DoingThe Sr. Software Engineer for Embedded Linux requires a unique blend of skills that merge customer applications, component selection, and integrated hardware/software design to develop leading edge products for the embedded controls & systems market. While Linux is a well-known platform across the world, applying Linux into embedded applications limit the developers options due to cost, space, hardware choices, and a host of other factors. Design, develop, and test firmware and applications on the company's hardware running Linux operating system. - Designing and developing Linux BSP- Designing and developing Linux Applications- Provide customer technical support- Provide product support (Production, resolving bugs, etc.)What You Need for this Position- 3+ Years of Linux Embedded Development Experience You should know some of the following:- C/C- Embedded Development- Scripting (Bash, Python, etc.)- Linux Kernel- Microprocessor peripheral driver development- working with hardware, schematics, and component data sheets- SVN- GIT- U-Boot or other standard boot loaders- GNU- Networking programming in Linux (TCP, UDP)- Agile / Scrum Send resume to ashok dot pathak at rsystems dot com
