- Deep knowledge on COBOL/JCL/PL1/DB2/CA7/VSAM and has the ability to handle complex DB2-SQL queries.
- Experience in Leading Application Support and maintenance projects with good knowledge of ASM SLA metrics , Stakeholder coordination etc. .
- Knowledge Service management tools like Service Now etc.
- Knowledge of monitoring tools , Xpeditor Debugging and Changeman/Panvalet Configuration management tools.
- Good exposure in supporting batch applications with critical online availability SLA's.
- Basic experience of worked on Front end integration with mainframe.
- Knowledge of Infra – FTP and File transmission process.
- Drive the critical P1/P2 calls and represent support teams during outages.
- Resolving complex problems logically and methodically, and good judgment to involve and communicate with vendors, internal teams and management.
- Mentors fellow engineers and leads cross-team initiatives.
- Experience in professional operations, software engineering, debugging, analysis, and software documentation experience
- Possess a support and customer-centric mindset and attitude.
- Problem-solving skills, ability to deal with ambiguity, sense of ownership and the ability to work with a limited set of requirements
- Experience in support role (tech or non-tech).
- Ability to multi-task, attention to detail
