Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Medical Data Entry Clerk in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Our company operates within the healthcare industry and focuses on maintaining and improving healthcare records. As a Medical Data Entry Clerk, you will be working closely with our team to manage and update patient data, ensure the accuracy of medical records, and provide efficient administrative support.Responsibilities: Accurately entering and updating patient data into the Armed Forces Health Longitudinal Technology Application (AHLTA) and EHR SYSTEM. Utilizing IBM AS/400 and McKesson systems for data management and administrative tasks. Assisting with billing functions and claim administration tasks to ensure timely and accurate billing. Providing excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries and resolving any issues or concerns. Ensuring the accuracy and completeness of all data entry tasks and documentation. Utilizing Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting purposes. Collaborating with the team to ensure all data is up-to-date and accurate. Upholding privacy and confidentiality standards in handling sensitive patient information. Identifying and reporting any discrepancies or errors in patient records. Assisting in other administrative tasks as needed to support the team.
