Description We are seeking a Medical Data Entry Clerk to join our team in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The nature of the role entails meticulous entry of medical data into computer systems, organization of physical records, and collaboration with team members to ensure data accuracy. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities Input paper-based medical data into computer systems with precision. Collaborate with team members to verify data entries for completeness and consistency. Utilize software tools to enhance productivity and streamline data entry tasks. Maintain physical records to support the digitization process. Uphold confidentiality and security protocols while handling sensitive medical information. Run records and match appropriate records to the patient in the system. Provide exceptional customer service while handling inquiries and processing applications. Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary. Ensure accurate documentation of all data entry tasks and customer interactions. Administer claim administration tasks as part of the role. Requirements Must have at least 1 year of experience in a similar role Proficiency in claim administration is required Exceptional customer service skills are essential Must be skilled in data entry tasks Excellent documentation skills are necessary High attention to detail and accuracy is paramount Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus Ability to handle confidential information responsibly Proficiency in computer systems, including MS Office Suite and data entry software High school diploma or equivalent is required; further education in a relevant field is considered an advantage.
