Network Engineer

AE Business Solutions is seeking a

• Engineering, enhancing, and supporting network infrastructure to enable our development teams to move their applications to production quickly and efficiently
• Practicing and advocating for infrastructure engineering best practices like GitOps and overall infrastructure-as-code, driving quality, reliability, and security.
• Relentlessly code, test, deploy, operate, and improve our platforms until they achieve our desired outcomes and are a pleasure to use.
• Building and managing complex WANs, LANs, APIs, infrastructure-as-code, network services, or developer tools, we build platforms that enable our development teams to move fast and deliver business value.

• BA/BS in MIS, Information Technology, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of relevant work experience
• CCNA-level Route/Switch knowledge with an emphasis on BGP and EIGRP
• Strong understanding of network fundamentals and packet flow, including wireshark application analysis
• Ability to reverse engineer complex infrastructure to assist other teams troubleshooting
• High technical aptitude, self-starter, and continued drive to innovate and quickly adapt to change
• Strong communication skills with an ability to effectively communicate highly technical concepts to leadership Preferred:
• Experience working with any of the following technologies:
• DNS/DHCP/NTP
• Palo Alto Firewall
• Aruba Wireless
• Juniper Switching
• Public Cloud (AWS/GCP/etc)
• Private Cloud (ACI)
• Experience automating with Python, Git, APIs, and other infrastructure automation tools
