Job Description:As an Information Technology Systems Engineer, you will support and administer a highly virtualized network and server infrastructure. While carrying out the job duties listed below. Duties and Responsibilities:Administer, maintain, and provide technical support for all network servers, SAN, storage systems, backup systems and other equipment to achieve optimal performance.Participate in department management through the design, installation, and support of all network server, and storage infrastructure.Review maintenance needs, scheduling of upgrades and downtime, and overall daily performance with department management on a regular basis.Ensure all Server hardware and specified storage hardware is logged, registered, and supported with the appropriate vendor.Adhere to appropriate departmental documentation standards (writing and updating).Provide support on escalated Help Desk issues to resolve hardware and software issues for team members in all departments and at all levels of the organization.About TEKsystems: We're partners in transformation.
