RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client that is seeking an Operations Manager (IT) in Milwaukee, WI.

Summary:The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing delivery of key technical initiatives as well as environment support and incident management. The Operations Manager is a Shared Services leader per Agile terminology. Examples of the types of initiatives that might be led by the Operations Manager include major technology migration or transformation, application and infrastructure security initiatives, and application performance governance including system availability and the management of incidents and problems. Given the diverse set of technical disciplines that the Operations Manager may manage, the ideal candidate must have an equally diverse background including experience with applications, infrastructure, and several supporting technologies.

Responsibilities: Operations Manager will monitor for and resolve Production issues before user impact occurs Coordinate resolution of issues in both Production and test environments Manage quality assurance and automated testing As an Operations Manager, you will manage DevOps execution and tools maintenance Lead technical resources across multiple disciplines Develop and maintain relationships with company central technology teams Assume accountability for quality of runtime environments Operations Managers ensure incidents are tracked and resolved within SLA guidelines Establish and enforce sound problem management practices Complete and manage 8D (root cause) documentation

REQUIREMENTS:Technical proficiency required: Well versed in infrastructure architecture and design concepts Familiar with application architecture concepts Continuous Integration & Delivery and DevOps philosophy Technical strategy and planning Cloud architecture and security Best practices in application continuity and disaster recovery Experience with Salesforce-integrated applications

Other skills preferred: 1+ years of leading Incident Management team(s) Experience working in Agile environments; ideally using SAFe practices Experience leading remote/offshore teams Experience establishing and managing vendor relationships Experience in complex, high-visibility programs
