Location: Eau Claire, WI Salary: $55.00 USD Hourly - $65.00 USD Hourly Description: Our client is currently seeking a Packaging Engineer

Hands-on Project execution experience in setting up plant to manufacture aseptic liquids. Candidates with a minimum of 10 years project engineering experience who can effectively interface with the project team and fabrication and installation contractors, equipment suppliers during construction, installation, commissioning, qualification and validation phases of the project.

Should have Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical Engineering

Skills:

•Food Packaging Machine experience encompassing installation of fillers, sanitary piping fabrication, installation, knowledge of utilities piping

•Good knowledge in coordinating the installation of packaging machines such as Liquid RTD Fillers case packers, conveyors and End of the Line Palletizers, Stretch Wrappers.

•Knowledge of Autocad 2D and ability to develop 2D plans, elevation, isometrics drawings etc. while being based at project site

•Ability to verify and update equipment layout considering safety, hygiene and maintenance requirements

•Complete various Scope of Work documents for equipment installation, platform fabrication / installation, sanitary and utilities piping installation including preparing material take offs

•Manage Nestle Equipment list to verify accuracy in all aspects i.e. equipment information like model and serial number, etc.

•Manage parts as they come in, mark equipment with Nestle equipment numbers, and manage inventory to make sure items are received.

•Apply Nestle equipment tags once the equipment are installed.

•Spare parts delivery, tagging and handover to maintenance stores.

•Obtain concurrence of the plant customers during project execution, testing, commissioning through handover.

•Prepare management of change and risk prediction documents

•Represent the company in the contracting and monitoring of construction activities (responsible for quality, safety, time, costs and change control).

•Communicate plant requirements and monitor all contractors ensuring plant procedures are followed.

•Coordinate and schedule construction activities aligned with plant operations.

•Coordinate equipment, piping clean ups, pressure testing, I/O checks, testing, commissioning, and validation.

•Prepare IQ / OQ / PQ documents and manage the on time closure of defect lists

•Prepare safety risk predictions, provide tool box talk to the contractors, manage safe project execution
