Together, we’re pioneering the future of science and medicine, developing products that enable researchers in the fight to save lives.Job Summary:As part of the Client Relations team the Product Manager, IVT Enzymes and Custom Proteins is responsible for launching new products and services, managing the lifecycle of existing products, and working with Client Relations for custom protein products. This role will support field sales and client relations by creating tactical marketing plans, developing marketing and sales training collateral to communicate value-proposition, and work with Product Strategy and Product Innovation to provide technical and application specific attributes of Aldevron’s IVT and custom proteins to our clients. ResponsibilitiesManage the launch of new products and services for IVT and custom proteins. Responsible for execution of New Product Introduction plans with cross-functional teams including Management, Marketing, Operations, Customer Relations, and Sales.

Manage and maintain excellent communications for the lifecycle of existing products including tactical marketing plans, marketing collateral, and sales training tools. Work closely with other business units to support their demands for IVT enzymes.

Manage price, discounts, and margins to ensure that the Protein Business Unit meets or exceeds budget goals.

Understand the current trends around IVT enzymes and their applications in research and therapeutics for vaccines and mRNA therapies.

Anticipate market trends with a coordinated effort across all functional areas and shift products to meet demands including discontinuation, product innovation, and new product introduction.

Corporate Representation and Duties

As requested, attend tradeshows and scientific conferences representing all Aldevron platforms and interacting with scientific, procurement and executive client representatives. Duties include booth coverage, securing client appointments, attending talks, and fully participating in networking options.

Generate voice of customer data and deliver to commercial, marketing, product management, and sales on current and new products and services.

Deliver technical, cross-platform presentations at client meetings and conferences.

Qualifications:B.S. in a scientific field required

1– 3 years experience managing molecular biology or biochemical products

1 – 3 years experience in GMP or another regulated environment preferred

Preferred Experience:Advanced degree or professional experience preferred
