Job Description

    ABOUT THE JOB

    • Plan and prepare production schedules and related raw material forecasts
    • Provide reports to the team to set priorities and measure performance such as schedule attainment
    • Coordinate with plant purchasing to ensure availability and meet inventory targets
    • Partner with other functions to mitigate potential constraints to ensure On Time Delivery
    • Conduct inventory integrity activities including cycle counts and troubleshoot differences
    • Manage outside services work orders and ensure timely turnaround
    • Support effective implementation of engineering changes
    • Update manufacturing lead times and other item master planning inputs to drive effective MRP
    • Analyze material transactions and maintain perpetual inventory integrity
    • Schedule and coordinate New Product Introductions (NPI)

    Qualifications

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • 2-5 years

      Production Planning and/or Supply Chain experience in Manufacturing Operations
    • Very proficient with Excel, ERP and related computer applications
    • Bachelor’s degree in

      Supply Chain, Operation’s Management or Business-related discipline
    • Strong skills in communication, collaboration, analytics and problem-solving
    • Ability to work with a high level of detail and accuracy

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Experience planning in

      Oracle ASCP and data query using BI or Tableau
    • Certifications/training with

      ASCM or APICS – CPIM, Lean, Six Sigma or Continuous Improvement
    • MBA degree or completed class work if in-process
    • Demonstrated ability to self-direct and take initiative to drive improvements
    • Experience working in a high-volume production environment with diverse metal fabrication processes
