The Program Manager will be responsible for organizing programs/projects. You will be tasked with creating and managing long term goals of projects and programs for the organization. This position requires that you have had prior experience in program management, Agile, and team management roles. The Program Manager will have proven knowledge experience within the IT industry and will have led large scale enterprise projects.

Essential Responsibilities:In order of importance, indicate the essential responsibilities of the position and the % of time dedicated to each. (must total 100% - no responsibility should be less than 5%. Please note that other duties may be assigned. % of Time
  • Running large enterprise program/projects 30%
  • Strategize, implement and maintain program initiatives and projects that adhere to organizational objectives 10%
  • Develop program assessment protocols for evaluation and improvement, along with maintaining organizational standards of satisfaction, governance, quality and performance for the teams 10%
  • Work closely with project sponsor, cross-functional teams and assigned project managers to plan and develop scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for the new initiatives 10%
  • Identify key requirements needed from cross-functional teams and external vendors 10%
  • Develop and manage budget for projects and be accountable for delivering against established business goals/objectives and showing ROI 10%
  • Manage the preparation and maintenance of reports necessary to carry out the functions of the department. Prepares periodic reports for management, as necessary, or requested to track strategic goal accomplishments. 5%
  • Resource Allocation Planning 5%
  • Lead change management work in order to deliver more efficiently and effectively. 5%
  • Understands and adheres to legal/compliance standards included in corporate policies and accepts ownership for accomplishing existing tasks that fulfill legal/compliance requirements. Reports compliance violations when identified. 5%
  • Job Characteristics
    • Complexity 3 - Work is split between standardized and non-standardized tasks. The job requires the employee to use judgment to plan and organize work; requires searching for solutions of limited difficulty.
    • Decision Making 3 - Work is performed under minimal supervision; independent decisions made may set precedents for future work processes of a work team, unit, or department; decisions have a moderate impact on productivity, policies, procedures, and staff.
    • Judgment 3 - Medium level of judgment needed; has some freedom to act.
    • Problem Solving 4 - Substantial amount of problem solving required; problems are not defined and may need to be researched as they arise.
    • Supervisory Responsibilities 3 - May directly supervise other employees or an entire department; responsible for hiring, evaluating, make disciplinary decisions, etc.
    • Budgetary Responsibility $50-75k

    Certificate (s): Preferred - PMP

    Experience: Job requires 10 to 15 years of previous related work experience.
