Description: This position will support the LCS/MMSC Construction Program on sight in Marinette Wisconsin. Specific responsibilities will include but not limited to:1. Assisting in the development and execution of the LM LCS/MMSC Production Strategy.2. Monitoring of shipboard systems/equipment design, installation and operations.3. The development of metrics to document and track equipment/system condition and maturity while continuously assessing and reporting shipboard systems and and subsystem equipment status.4. Interface with other LCS/MMSC Design and Construction, Class Design Services, ISEA functions and the construction yard for their designated hull.5. Assist the Senior Production Manager as directed in support of overall construction efforts.Basic Qualifications:1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related marine main propulsion experience.2. Strong technical background with Hull, Mechanical, and Electrical (HM&E) systems.3. The ideal candidate must possess good communication skills, be able to perform multiple tasks, have self-management and decision making skills, travel and work independently and be teamwork orientated.4. Communication skills required for effective interface with management, ship constructor, vendors, and the customer on complex program and and technical aspects and issues.5. Analytical skills to effectively track, manage, and status multiple technical and construction items and issues.Desired Skills:1. Knowledge of the shipbuilding process ranging from design to installation and activations.2. Ability to research design and implementation issues, read and translate ship's drawings, and communicate construction approaches.3. Sound knowledge and experience with international regulatory body requirements, classification standards, marine engineering practices, specifications and rules.4. Ability to monitor and evaluate schedule including review of ongoing and upcoming projects.5.
