  • 10+ years of experience with .NET development

Onsite or Remote? WI Dept. of Natural Resources currently has a hybrid work schedule in place (2 days a week in the office).

Job Description:Responsible for overall coordination, status reporting and System of Wastewater Applications, Monitoring, and Permits (SWAMP) development efforts. Establishes and implements processes and methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and adhere to WI DNR standards. Responsible for managing team assignments, directing, and monitoring work efforts on daily basis to ensure that the scope, budget, risks, and resources are being met. Oversees and leads the development of SWAMP and provides technical support to the development team as needed.

Job Requirements:
  • Understanding of project management methodologies and experience with 'Agile'.
  • Work with stakeholders to develop priorities and timelines.
  • Meet with project sponsor and stakeholders on regular basis; provide status reports, communicate any obstacles and/or barriers, etcetera.
  • Lead development efforts on daily basis (e.g., assign work tasks, provide guidance as needed, implement, and follow department standards and procedures, etc.).

This position is responsible for leading an Applications Development scrum team to execute the delivery of software releases with well-defined software using an agile iterative development process. This position understands and coordinates feature backlog for all releases of the system, and all its dependencies. This person will lead the transition of software features into technical requirements, such as features, epics, and stories following Agile/Scrum-based software development, as well as determine software release plan and project scope.
