Detailed Job Description:The DCF Enterprise section is looking for a result oriented and adaptable individual with a ‘can do attitude’ to lead agency technical efforts related to the CARES eligibility system governance establishment. This project manager will lead the agency effort for implementation and operation of the governance model for this complex system shared with the Department of Health Services.The individual in this position will:
  • Be the face of rewarding projects that deliver enhanced products for DCF and help Wisconsin’s most vulnerable citizens every day.
  • Be responsible for technical and overall project management on large projects.
  • Develop and maintain project charters, plans, deliverables, and other project artifacts.
  • Work closely with the project sponsor and IT senior management to understand and prioritize project tasks, solve complex technical problems, understand business objectives and problems, identify alternative solutions, and perform feasibility studies and cost/benefit analysis.
  • Lead effective teams and direct the work of the project team to meet project milestones.
  • Have 15 or more years of experience leading large application development projects.

    It is required to have full audio/video conferencing capabilities (camera and headset).

Provides technical support to project team members. Handles complex application features and technical designs. Designs and implements the components required for complex application features. Generally manages a group of applications systems analysts. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Professional certification is highly desirable. Project Manager capabilities with 12 or more years of experience. Capable of managing a project with up to ten (10) or more staff and/or a project with multiple subprojects.
