- MCSA/MCSE +Cloud, AWS Solutions Architect, AWS DevOps Engineer.
- Bachelor's degree in IT or computer engineering or equivalent experience with 4-5 years of experience designing and managing cloud systems specifically AWS and Microsoft Azure related.
- Extensive hands-on experience working in Microsoft Windows and Linux environments.
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience with AWS and Microsoft Azure IaaS and PaaS resources.
- Experience with deployment tools such as Terraform.
- Experience with agile development methodologies.
- Demonstrable experience in migrating on-premise workloads to the cloud.
- Deep and demonstrable experience with Azure CLI, AWS-CLI, and PowerShell.
- Deep understanding of computer networks including routing, switching, and network security.
- Strong IaaS skill set.
- Production level experience with Docker containers and Kubernetes along with cloud-native/microservices architecture.
- Ensure all cloud environments meet best-practice standards for security, scalability, and functionality.
- Monitoring production health and working in collaboration with development to resolve infrastructure and product issues.
- Manage and maintain an automation framework centered around rapid, scalable, and predictable infrastructure provisioning.
- Extensive understanding of IT security.
- Excellent understanding of Windows Server 2012R2 and higher.
- Knowledge of Azure Active Directory (AD) for authentication and federation.
- Knowledge of firewalls, VPN, load balancing, and general networking architecture as related to both AWS and Microsoft Azure.
- Capable of managing multiple, concurrent deliverables on aggressive delivery schedules with a conscientious work ethic.
- Strong technical, communication, and documentation skills.
- Design, deploy, and maintain Microsoft Azure or AWS products and services across multiple tenants and subscriptions.
- Design Azure or AWS deployments based on business requirements within the proper guidelines and security requirements set forth by Weir.
- Day to day management of multiple Azure or AWS tenants and subscriptions.
- Design and report on capacity, growth, and expenditures within the environment.
- Manage, monitor, and implement Azure Advisor or AWS equivalent recommendations.
- Create and maintain detailed technical documentation.
- Creation and execution of maintenance plans designed to keep systems up to date, while keeping with our published service level agreements.
- Participate in the design and maintenance of Weir s enhanced data recovery solutions.
- Respond to system outages and crisis events as needed.
- Contribute where possible to Weir s DevOps environment.
- Provide robust solutions while adhering to an advanced security posture.
- Demonstrate exceptional communication skills both verbal and written.
