Checks quality parameters of the products according to the specification.
Performs line checks to make sure the correct product is being produced with correct specifications including metering sheets to measure feet of product in tubes.
Perform Quality checks of the printed material by comparing sample material to newly printed casing.
Conducts testing to ensure perforated holes are according to customer specifications and tube checks to detect holes in shirred casings using a water or Insty-Shir system.
Conduct ATP swabbing at the beginning of each shift or after Maintenance repairs.
Handle all RTAs (Returned goods) and customer complaints as required while following the process in coordination with several departments and perform final disposition.
File production paperwork as required throughout the day.
Help answer production question's when necessary.
Handle Inventory transactions and maintenance of the Quality Inventory while also transferring inventory internally as required.
Understanding and using RedZone database and training operators on it.
The essential functions of this role include:

working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week
