Quality Control TechnicianBCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Quality Control Technician to work in Milwaukee, WI 53225. Role: Quality Control Technician Location: Milwaukee, WI 53225Expected Duration: 6 Months (Contract to Hire) Quality Analyst I Responsibilities: Reviews and approves all product paperwork packets, ensuring all paperwork entries are correct and use proper GDP. Dispositions Finished Product for sale, ensuring all quality parameters are within and Customer specifications. Actively involved and leads the investigation of any out-of-specification finished product results, including any large rework or scrap event. Any discrepancies in Finished Product inventories are reported weekly to the Inventory Specialist to reduce variance and improve traceability. Evaluates moulding and packing processes, looking for opportunities to improve product quality and reduce waste and costs. This also includes any improvements needed to increase task efficiency and reduce line changeover time. Responsible for leading and actively involved in the investigation of Customer Complaints for products manufactured on the Quality Analysts designated line. Also responsible for ensuring any resulting corrective actions are completed by Production and FSQR in a timely manner. Authors all FSQR Moulding & Pack SOPs, Work Instructions and Forms. Manages the conversion of out of specification product or floor rework bins to rework in SAP at the Milwaukee facility. This includes inspection, labeling, quality notification creation, and disposition to rework. Trained on all QC Laboratory in-process testing and may be utilized as verification or back up of QC Laboratory Technicians on-the-job training (OJT) tasks. Performs Hygiene Audits with Production. Responsible for audit report and notification of findings. Also manages open action items to drive to completion. Performs FSQR inspection of line changeovers as needed and releases Line to Production. Performs line quality checks, such as appearance and drop count and ensures they meet Specifications.
