Eligibility may vary.Position descriptionThe scheduling resource representative consults with managers/supervisors to analyze workload and recommend scheduling/staffing plan for the area; develops and maintains base and posted employee schedules; performs daily updates to position control spreadsheets using excel formula and data base functions; facilitates and supports employee shared decision making scheduling models where applicable; reviews and recommends changes to employee timekeeping records. Provides consultation on scheduling solutions to a wide variety of individuals within the enterprise. Carries out all aspects of the job using appropriate problem-solving skills and assumes the responsibility for self-development within the role.This position will have the opportunity to work remotely greater than 50% of the time with intermittent need to come to campus for trainings, meetings, and for other business needs. Business need requires employees to live within a reasonable driving distance of the La Crosse, WI campus.QualificationsRequires successful completion of a one- or two-year degree/diploma/certification in an administrative assistant/secretarial or Health Unit Coordinator field and a minimum of two years’ experience. Experience may be in jobs such as Administrative Assistant, Medical Secretary, Health Unit Coordinator, or Patient Appointment Coordinator.Additional qualificationsMayo experience preferred. Strong Excel skills including knowledge and prior use of formulas and data base functions. Prior experience with word processing software. Ability to establish and maintain effective interpersonal relationships with a variety of people. Effective, verbal and written communication skills.Ability to deal with continuous multiple and complex interpersonal interactions. Demonstrated problem-solving and organizational skills. Ability to work independently. Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines within the context of highly variable workload and interruptions.
