RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Basis Engineer in Middleton, WI.
Summary:Under general direction, the Senior Basis Engineer plans, implements, supports, and maintains the technical foundation of the enterprise business system. Incumbent will provide Basis and SAP technical support administration services to include system updates and troubleshooting as needed.Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Senior Basis Engineer will model the Company Brands eight Core Capabilities to achieve service excellence, meet and exceed organizational objectives and support fiscal responsibility Support Company Brands' business systems environment at the database level including all landscapes and connected peripheral systems Support all Basis and SAP environments to ensure critical business systems operation Protect all systems with proper security and backup practices Perform Basis installations, upgrades, migrations, and integrations as needed Perform periodic disaster recovery testing Perform data refreshes from production to QA systems, or development to sandbox As a Senior Basis Engineer, you will satisfy internal and external audit requirements Troubleshoot and resolve Basis problems using external vendors when appropriate Maintain documentation of important procedures All other duties as assignedREQUIREMENTS: B.S. degree related to Information Systems Minimum 6 years of total Information Systems experience Minimum 4 years of Basis experience Enterprise I.T. experience strongly preferred Knowledge of Windows and UNIX operating system environments Strong Basis and SAP skills (including ECC and S4) Excellent written and verbal skills Willingness to work on projects and problems during off hours, weekends, and possibly holidays Willingness to address production down issues 24/7 Ability to work well with others (individuals and groups) Good time-management and project-management skills Exceptional communication and customer service skills Interest in continuous improvement Passion to make a difference to the businessDesired Skills: Experience in enterprise class HANA database system tuningThe pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range.
