RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client that is seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team.

Summary:The ideal candidate will have a passion for automation, software development, and continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) methodologies. In this role, you will work closely with software developers, IT operations, and other stakeholders to optimize and streamline our development and deployment processes. You will also be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our cloud infrastructure.

Job Duties & Responsibilities: Senior DevOps Engineer will collaborate with software development teams to design and implement CI/CD pipelines for new and existing applications Design, build, and maintain our company's infrastructure and applications Develop and maintain tools for system and application deployment, monitoring, and logging Work with InfoSec to implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans Automate deployment and scaling of applications in a cloud environment Senior DevOps Engineer will manage and maintain cloud-based infrastructure, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform Automate manual processes to improve efficiency and reduce risk Monitor systems for performance and reliability, and respond to issues in a timely manner Troubleshoot complex issues and implement solutions to prevent future occurrences Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for critical systems

REQUIREMENTS: 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering or related field Experience with cloud infrastructure in Azure or AWS Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.) Experience with CI/CD pipelines and related tools, such as Azure DevOps or GitHub Knowledge of infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform, PowerShell DSC, or Salt Familiarity with monitoring and logging solutions, such as Datadog, Azure Monitor, AWS CloudWatch, Zabbix, or ELK stack Proficiency in at least one scripting language (PowerShell or Bash preferred) and one programming language (C# or Java preferred) Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work well in a team-oriented environment Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
