AECOM is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer who has a strong background in facilities-related mechanical engineering and HVAC design. The ideal candidate understands and has proven track record in design quality, project delivery, and has the ability to convey innovative design thinking and solutions.The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, those listed below: Evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures, and judgement based on experience to design and construct HVAC and plumbing systems and equipment in buildings using building information modelingCoordinate HVAC and plumbing systems with other disciplines to produce complete building system designsPerform construction inspection and observation on active construction projects and create detailed reportsReview and revise existing standards of engineering techniques, procedures, and practices in building design and building information modelingParticipation in development of proposal responses, project planning, and staffingDevelopment of system related narratives (technical writing, organizing the document, development of graphics)Ability to concisely express complex system solutions in very early design phases in order to share intent either internally for further development, or externally to assist design partnersUtilize Autodesk tools such as REVIT and CADCoordinate mechanical system design with electrical engineers, architects, and other design professionalsReview and edit technical specificationsInteract and work with diverse set of market types, clients, and subcontractors
