Position Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, maintain, document and test IBMi programs using object-oriented, scrum / agile and / or waterfall methodologies. Apply best practices and techniques.
  • Support the IBMi custom systems and different integrations with other applications such as Manhattan WMOS, Stibo / STEP, Java-based order entry, modernized order processing and JDA Demand Planning among others.
  • Troubleshoot and resolves system issues, bugs and other system defects related to the IBMi programs and interfaces.
  • Participate in different sprint ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, grooming, and retrospective.

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
  • 3+ years experience in RPG programming and DB2i.
  • Experience on Azure DevOps, Confluence and Jazz RTC collaboration tools, as well as Kibana / ELK Stack and Dynatrace user interfaces a plus.
  • Knowledge of RPG IV / RPG / ILE, SQL using DB2i tables, CLP / CLE, OS / 400, MKS Implementer, Rudi / X-analysis, Client Access, Navigator.
  • Knowledge of connectivity to other platforms (web services, i.e. restful services, SOAP), database technologies like DB2 / LUW, DataStax, Oracle, SQL Server a plus.
  • Knowledge of Manhattan WMOS and Java programming (core Java, Spring Boot, Angular) a plus.
  • Familiarity with object-oriented and agile methodologies and documentation desired.
